Accepting these terms
By creating or continuing to use a ScreenLife account, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to accept these terms where you live. If you do not agree, do not create an account or publish community content.
Your account
Give accurate registration information, keep your credentials private, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Do not impersonate another person, evade an enforcement action, automate abusive traffic, scrape private information, or interfere with ScreenLife.
Tracking and metadata
ScreenLife helps you organise movies, series, books, comics, games, music, consumption history, ratings, reviews, and lists. Catalog, person, artist, artwork, release, and availability metadata may come from third-party providers and rights holders. It can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and does not imply endorsement by those providers.
Community rules
Reviews, comments, lists, profile information and other member-visible material are user-generated content. Do not publish content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, graphically violent, fraudulent, infringing, privacy-invasive, spam, or designed to facilitate abuse. Never publish sexual content involving minors, personal information without permission, malware, or instructions intended to cause harm.
Clearly mark spoilers using the available controls. Respect other members' audience choices, blocks and boundaries. Reporting must be used in good faith and must not itself be used to harass another person.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you create. You give ScreenLife a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and promote the ScreenLife service according to the audience you select. This licence ends when the content or account is deleted, except for limited copies required for security, legal obligations or backup rotation.
Moderation and enforcement
Members can report content and accounts and can block other members. ScreenLife may review reports, reduce visibility, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts or delete accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect people or systems, or comply with law. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate action. Available appeals are shown with the relevant moderation decision.
Availability and changes
ScreenLife is provided on an as-available basis. Features and provider data may change, and interruptions can occur. Keep an export of anything important. Material changes to these terms will be dated here and, when appropriate, presented for renewed acceptance before community use.
Voluntary contributions
ScreenLife may accept optional one-time contributions toward the operating costs published on the Operating costs page. A contribution is not required to use ScreenLife and does not purchase features, visibility, influence, ownership or charitable tax deductibility. Payments are processed by Stripe and remain subject to Stripe’s payment terms. Contact ScreenLife support about an accidental or disputed contribution.
Ending your account
You can permanently delete your account from Settings or use the public account-deletion instructions. Deletion removes the active account and its associated user data, subject to the limited retention described in the Privacy Policy.
