The browser is linked with a one-time code that expires after ten minutes. Its token is stored only in extension-local browser storage, expires after 180 days, and can be revoked at any time.

    Pin it to your toolbar so account, site access, and diagnostics are always close by.

    Connect your account

    Choose Connect ScreenLife, approve the one-time code in the signed-in app, then return to the extension.

    Enable the current site

    ScreenLife requests access only for the streaming service in your active tab. Repeat this once for each service you use.

Start with these common fixes. If detection still misses a title, the extension can create a sanitized report that leaves out tokens, cookies, media URLs, ratings, and review text.

Why did no ScreenLife card appear?

Open the extension and confirm that monitoring and access for the current streaming site are enabled. Then open Detection diagnostics, start a fresh capture, and use Run check now near the end of the video.

Can I log something before the credits?

Yes. Open the extension while the video is playing and choose Log current video. You will still confirm the catalog match before anything is saved.

What information does the extension read?

Detection uses the page's video state and visible title metadata in your browser. It does not read the media stream, cookies, or passwords, and it does not bypass DRM or download video.

How do I disconnect a browser?

Choose Disconnect in the extension, or open ScreenLife account settings and revoke that browser under Linked browser extensions.
