Data stored
ScreenLife stores your email address, display name, password hash, account settings, library, viewing events, ratings, reviews, lists, notes, tags, and notifications in the operator's PostgreSQL database. Passwords are not stored in readable form.
Why and where it is processed
The data is used to provide the tracker and its account features. The public preview is self-hosted by the operator. TMDB receives metadata searches and title or person identifiers when ScreenLife requests catalog data; it does not receive your ScreenLife password.
Imports and exports
Uploaded Letterboxd, IMDb, or generic import files are used to prepare an import preview and apply the records you approve. ScreenLife supports account data export and diary CSV export so that user-created history remains portable.
Browser storage and cookies
A secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in. ScreenLife may temporarily store queued viewing actions and cached application files in your browser for offline behavior. Signing out clears private queued actions on that browser.
Your choices
You can download your data from Settings, correct your profile, delete viewing records, ratings and reviews, revoke signed-in devices, or permanently delete your account. Contact the ScreenLife operator for access, correction, backup-retention, or deletion questions.
Public-site measurement
ScreenLife does not currently use marketing analytics on this public website. If privacy-compatible measurement is added later, this policy will be updated before collection begins. Viewing history and imported file contents will not be sent to marketing analytics.
