About ScreenLife.
ScreenLife brings movie diaries, episode progress, reading, play, and listening logs, reviews, lists, and people with compatible taste into one community.
Why it exists
Film diaries, episode trackers, reading logs, comics trackers, game libraries, and listening histories each remember a different part of a life with stories. ScreenLife brings those habits together without flattening them into the same workflow.
The result is one portable history with focused spaces for each medium and a community that helps the next recommendation come from someone you trust.
Community with controls
ScreenLife began as a small, self-hosted preview. Members can publish reviews, lists, ratings, and diary activity; follow one another; compare taste; and choose a different audience when something should stay limited. Imports can be previewed, and user-created data can be exported again.
Metadata credits
ScreenLife uses the TMDB API for film, series, person, image, and regional availability metadata. It is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Streaming availability is supplied by JustWatch through TMDB and may change.
When the related modes are enabled, book metadata comes from Google Books and Open Library, game metadata from IGDB, manga-family metadata comes from Kitsu and MangaUpdates, and western-comics metadata may also come from Metron. MyAnimeList can provide additional manga-family metadata when configured. Music metadata comes from MusicBrainz and the Cover Art Archive, while public ListenBrainz statistics help identify trending releases. Chapter totals are presented as original-work tracking data and are attributed to their source. ScreenLife is not endorsed by those providers.
